Having followed ACU and CPAC for many years, I am fully aware of their problems. One problem at a time. I know some very dedicated activists who are determined not to let CPAC continue along that path. Their chosen approach is constructive engagement and they seem to be making progress. People like Judy and Dave are actually there making their case directly to the leadership. They have been involved with CPAC for quite a while themselves and are also aware of its problems, which they have seen up close. Michele Bachmann was the keynote speaker and she made a strong case for the three legged stool of traditional; conservatism. She is another one who is not backing down, but has chosen the path of constructive engagement.
