Actually, I see Dagney as a younger, more intelligent Glenn Close with light brown hair. But I think a cast of competent unknowns was a good, and necessary, choice. The star should be the theme of Rand's book, the ideas.

I remember when Angelina Jolie was touted for the part. When I watch her, all I can see are those absurd silicone-pumped lips, like the wax lips we used to play with as kids.
