The military may control the country right now but what we don't know is who is going to end up controlling Egypt's intelligence organization. It might be easier for the MB to affect a second revolution once they infiltrate the intelligence org.
But there are still to be elections in September, and I guess they will be reasonably fair elections. That's when we find out just how much the Egyptian people subscribe to fundamental Islamic beliefs, and how many of them desire to live under sharia.
Based on the 2010 Pew survey that has been written about often the past couple of weeks, a good majority favor Islamic law. So this is all to be decided by free and fair elections, and not be any dictate from the army.
I think you're wrong. The president before Mubarak, Sadat by name, was killed by an MB member who had infiltrated the Egyptian military. I think their military is chock full of MB members. They know where the power in the country resides. They might be crazy/insane/mad, but they ain't that stupid.
