There are two types of Jewish people, people like my parents/uncles/aunt who immigrated from Israel almost 40 years ago..my Mom always will consider Israel her home..she worries about them all the time, what might happen..Jews who were born in Israel and move here have a different perspective then the ones who were born here in the US..my cousin, for example, is a big flaming liberal, before the 2008 election I mentioned to him how Obama is not Pro Israel and he said “Israel is not my concern” his father(my uncle) is Israeli and he can say that..so yeah, the ones that were born here don’t see Israel as their concern, even though I was born here I love Israel, I visited there twice, once when I was 2 and the other time when I was 14 and I loved it over there. I have family members there. It’s really hard to understand why Jews who go to temple and claim they love Israel can continuously vote Democrat
Thanks for the insight...that makes a lot of sense. Some Christians I know have a laissez-faire attitude toward Israel; not out of anti-Semitism, but because they believe God is protecting them.
I try to explain that even though that is certainly true, the God that ordains the end also ordains the means to the end, and we therefore have to uphold righteousness and justice.
God has His hidden will, but we must act within the scope of His revealed will. I mourn for America, because right now we are on the wrong side of Israel.
