In years to come, their cheering will be one of the very perverse aspects of this episode.
Democracy is not born of protest political whining. It is borm out of a battle by the people who shed their blood to form a nation. If anything, Obama has short circuited a natural process of evolution in Egypt for the benefit of the Muslim Brotherhood. THe people of Egypt do not even have an inkling that if they want freedom, they should be expelling the Muslim Brotherhood from Egypt.

Not with Obama dead set against democracy even in America I'm against democracy in America. We are a Constitutional Republic.

Come back and talk to us a year from now.
We do hope that it turns out well. We have our doubts that it will. Obama’s community organizers have been busy. Who stands to benefit?

Looked at your profile page, and I’m nowhere near Bismark.

Tapper should have asked the question, Does anyone
in the Obama administration think EGYPT is better off
after this.
I’ll bet they all do.

LOL! Just messing back! My skin is way too thick to be thrown off by something so minor.
BTW, the whole “democracy” versus “representative republic” thing?
I lay that line on some of my less informed fellow veteran friends from time to time. It can be useful in separating the informed from the uninformed.
No harm, no foul, FRiend!

Not just apparently. It means apparently but falsely. There is a huge difference, especially in the context in which you used it.

I hope he’s this incompetent, because it’s so very scary if this guy actually knows what he’s doing.

"Also worth keeping in mind: cant find anyone in O admin who thinks whatever comes next will be better for U.S. interests than Mubarak was" This comes after Obama campaigned for Mubarak's overthrow. Which is exactly WHY Obama campaigned for Mubarak's overthrow.
Many really don't get it. They don't understand that Obama is about destroying the United States. Nothing he does is good for the US as we have traditionally understood it. He wants to bankrupt us and diminish our standing in the world. He wants to obliterate the notion of capitalism and free enterprise from the earth.
To: kristinn
No more party invitations for Tapper.

I’m beginning to think that Obama’s first priority is to see Israel destroyed.
