Encounters that might go on for 15 minutes or longer, as U.S. troops exchange fire with hidden Taliban, end in minutes after a few 25mm
***Not very good writin’ there. But I’m glad for our troups that the weapon works as advertised.

A handgrenade at 2700fps and only $25K!

I’m saving some pennies.

Good news. Maybe more of these will speed the end of the war!

Good News. I always felt like the M203 was a poor excuse for a weapon system. It forced one soldier to wear three hats, rifleman, grenadier, and team leader. Worse yet, it diminished his ability to wear all three hats as it divided his attention and compromised his equipment. It has other deficiencies that I won’t mention. I am very happy to see this weapon dropping HE on the towel wrapped heads of our enemies hiding in the dead space. I understand there’s a full auto version of this weapon too.

Let’s hope the Russians and ChiComs do not get their hand on this technology. They will sell it to anyone.

When SWAT teams in domestic police agencies finally get their hands on these weapons, they will be able to kill dogs and execute no-knock raids on the wrong house in record time.

A pretty handy way for a national to field troops, but not have them return home as trained citizen riflemen.

Although warned to keep operational details off public Internet forums, XM-25 users are telling stories to other combat troops of a wonder-weapon that actually works.

I wonder if they were told about the civilian ordnance technician killed when rounds exploded just as soon as they cleared the end of the weapon's muzzle.

Innovative and interesting, if a little heavy? Maybe. *Proven* in combat* Not yet; not hardly. Remember how many of the early version of the XM16 rifle was issued to troops in the field before its *little problems were discovered? Remember how many soldierd and Marines died before they were fixed?
