We do not have a separation clause in our constitution.
One could form say, the Southern Baptist Party and if the voters were there you'd be as legitimate a party as any other.

I guess I didn’t make myself clear. The MB wants to ESTABLISH Islam and Sharia Law and destroy the current Constitution of Egypt.
We do have an amendment forbidding such activity in the U.S.
The SBP Party would be fine as long as it didn’t set out to destroy the Constitution and set up a national religion.
