At the time of the Apostles, Egypt was a province of Imperial Rome and there were NO Christian nations. Christianity was just getting started. Rome didn't become a Christian nation until Constantine I 306 years after the birth of Christ. Egypt did not become a majority Christian nation until a 100 years later.
The Egyptians at the time of the Apostles obviously could never imagine Muslims doing anything at all, because Mohammad (piss be on him and his goats) wasn't even born until 570 AD.
I mean, PLEASE! Journalistic license is one thing, but that is just too badly written for words!
