The worst thing would be if the USA went Muslim. Say 80% of the US people accepted Islam overnight. There would be no feminism! men could slay their daughters! No gays! But the worst thing would be that Americans would start to change Islam—we would start to screw it up—re-write the Koran. Change some of the ideals—Reform the 7th Century religion. Then we would go on a Holy War to get all other Islamic People to follow our form, a liberal form, of Islam. We could end up ruling the Caliphate! The New Mecca could be in Deerborn.
