It’s a forever stamp so whatever the rates go to you’ll be covered. I know some people collect like Elvis Presley, Marilyn Monroe, Bob Hope, etc. I don’t know how long they will be sold or if this is a 1 day deal, wouldn’t think it’s just for 1 day but wanted to let FREEPERS know.

If you look on the USPS website, nearly all images of stamps have the denomination crossed out in exactly the same way:

Like someone said earlier, it's a simplistic anti-counterfeiting measure.
