True, but there are those celebrities who have done worse than just messing up a few words: Roseanne Barr not only grabbed her crotch (a la Michael Jackson) but spat at the end of the national anthem. Michael Bolton has screwed up the anthem, too, and Hillary Clinton didn’t even know the lyrics and botched it as well. These are just a few instances that I remember.
Well if she loves the country with all her heart, sing its National Anthem correctly.
I think this is being blown all out of proportion. Years ago Robert Goulet messed up the words to both teh US and Canadian National Anthems.
It happens. Everybody get over it.
