He knows damn well that a huge percentage of the voting population WILL NOT look up what laws he's signed; they'll just take his word for it and blame the republicans for lying and trying to make Obama feel bad and thats mean!

Federal Excise Tax (FET) on all tobacco products increased to the new rates on April 1, 2009.
FET on pack of (20) cigarettes = $1.01 per pack - old rate was $0.39
FET on pipe tobacco = $2.83 per pound - old rate was $0.0686 per oz. ($1.0969 per pound)
FET on Roll Your Own tobacco = $24.78 per pound - old rate was $0.0686 per oz. ($1.0969 per pound) - a 2,159% increase

Actually, if you consider inflation, which is nothing more than a special tax on saving saving and investment, then I am a prize winning Wee Wee.
In fact, by the time my Obamanomics Obortion has run its course, I will have hiked taxes by more than all other presidents in history ... combined.
