Question. What the hell are you talking about? I said nothing about tinfoil FEMA Alex Jones crap. I said nothing about the troops either. Perhaps I should reconsider my involvement with Disabled American Veterans now that they're Obama's faithful foot soldiers as you state? Gosh, I wasn't aware of that thank you oh so much for enlightening me.

We have a government that views its enemies as friends and its citizens as enemies. Your position reminds me of the gun control argument "if it saves only 1 life it will be worth it" but at what cost in terms of Liberty?

The statists in D.C. have more power of us than any 7th century throwbacks plotting in a cave and yet for some reason you have no problem giving the ruling elite more authority over us thinking they'll only exercise in our best interest.

They'll never abuse their powers with the Patriot Act like they never abused their powers with RICO or anything else. Yeah, right.

Police states may be secure but they sure as hell ain't free.

I'd like to remark on that. The NRA estimated that there were 80 million gun owners in the early '90s. Since then we have been through the Clinton-gun-ban-motivated firearms sales surge, 9-11-01, increased population and two years of an 0bambi inspired gun sales surge. I think it's only reasonable to estimate that there are now at least 100 million gun owners in America.

That constitutes a standing militia that is far larger than all of the standing armies in the world put together.

Pardon the interruption but I just thought an update on that figure was in order.
