I never wanted the damn plastic! It collapses on the floor of the car or back of the truck and everything rolls out.

I remember those paper sacks. Would topple over, rip and everything rolls out. If that didn't happen, the bottom would fall out and the mayonaise jar would break.

I don’t recall paper bags doing that at all. But some grocery stores did use cheaper thinner ones. Plastic bags always collapse. 100% of the time.
