IIRC, it turns out those reusable bags tend to be full of nasties after a short while. Viruses and bacteria, etc.

I also recall some communities trying the bag fee and it not working out well.

Will they also charge for produce bags as well? Or the produce bags I use to double wrap meat so it doesn’t bleed on my other food?

I love my reuseable bags, easier to carry can get more in them and I have them put meats and frozen food in a plastic bag before going into the cloth one. I get 5 cents off for each bag I use. No charge for the plastic bag.

I wonder if leaving them out in my car when the temperature gets below 20 degrees will kill off the bacteria?
