Assuming the worst of intentions for them is the safest policy. I'm with Beck on this one.
Kristol is completely ignorant on this subject.
The question is, is it intentional.

Bill Kristol, Rich Lowry and Joe Klein Gang Up on Glenn Beck
We all know there is an unholy alliance between the extreme left and anti-American extremists everywhere..but the Muslim Brotherhood did not..repeat..did not start the protests in Egypt...high prices, high unemployment and strong arm tactics cause them. That is not to say they wouldn't love to have a Caliphate or take over the protests. Which brings me to the problem I have with what Beck is doing right now...
Beck is giving too much credit and advertisement to a marginalized fraction of the population. Sorry..it's a dumb thing to do right now.
Bill wants to be a TV contrarian like Krauthammer and can't heft he gravitas he is shooting for without missteps like this.
The only “side” that is right is that we should never have gotten into this mess. To translate, that means that we should have NEVER extorted U.S. tax money and given to either Israel or the sadistic torturer welfare bum, Mubarak.
Democracy is indispensable to socialism. The goal of socialism is communism. -V.I. Lenin
The meaning of peace is the absence of opposition to socialism .-Karl Marx
Showing the limits of the neo-com vision. Their secularism is a blind spot. As Mark Stein pointed out yesterday, the culture in the Middle East has become visibly more Islamic than it was thirty years ago. The PLO, originally secular in character, inviting even Christians into leadership positions, became more religious in Arafat’s last years. Hamas is just a louder version of the Muslim Brotherhood. Ditto Hizbollah. Syria is more openly an ally of Iran. Afghanistan is a lost cause, and even Iraq has become a fiery furnace for a Christian community that goes back to apostolic times. The Jews of Bagdad are all gone:soon it was be the Christians who are gone. How long will the Bagdad government remain friendly to the United States? Forget the technicality of the Caliphate. The Muslim world is reverting to what it was in the 17th century, reasserting itself against a weakening “Christian” world.
I had to laugh last night when Beck was Talking about how lil’ Billy Kristol was clueless, and the next commercial was for the Weekly Standard, LOL.
All you need to know about Beck is that he is attacked personally by his enemies - his theories and facts are always left unchallenged. Unfortunately, there is a segment of American society that is dedicated to the idea that all religions are equal and that Islam is just another one of these, hijacked by a lunatic fringe. Some of them are even Republicans.
That’s not even the half of it. I watch an interview with a RETIRED FBI guy, supposedly involved in investigations of MB. If his attitude is representative of the thinking in the FBI.....WE HAVE A PROBLEM.
He praised the MB “social” programs. Even said he respected some of their leaders in U.S.
I wonder if he would express the same warm and fuzzies for Militia Orgs?/s
This may be the problem in U.S., the FBI doesn’t see the MB as a problem.
