One of my daughters works in the admissions office of a fairly large university. She says when an app comes in and they evaluate for ethnicity the other girls who are black have a habit of saying “any black is all black”. With all this nonsense they’re doing one hell of a job of creating racists.

Actually, thank the one-drop rule for that, which was and is still law in a lot of states. Usually that was enforced based on appearance. Obama has some English features, but his skin and hair color sticks out. Most that see him would consider him black. It is what it is. Personally I could care less what they consider themselves. I'm not offended by it.
