When Sarah Palin has declared as a presidential candidate and becomes fully unleashed + Obama continuing to tank the economy + the majority of American’s becoming aware of Barry's socialism + gas, food and energy prices through the roof + housing market in the dumps + employment anemic = Hello, Madam President.

“I always suspected McCain to be a gutless RINO. Was he neutered by the VC??”
Psychologically, yes he was. Very deliberately. I doubt that very many could stand up to what he went through without breaking. I am sure I could not.
The Soviets did some objective studies on torture and its concomitant character deformation. Intelligent and educated people were typically the most susceptible to “re-education”. Peasants the least so, and they would often patiently die under the abuse rather than conform to the desired behavior. People with strong religious beliefs were also more able to resist.
In the end though, almost everyone breaks under sustained and determined torture.
McCain appears to be burdened with a desire to please overt enemies. It seems to be something like Stockholm syndrome at a glance. I am certainly no expert in the field though.
I won’t judge the man. I won’t rely on him for anything important either.

Whereas I agree that I could care less about his endorsement ... it shows an incredible lack of class and understanding of We the People not to support her after she spent (wasted) so much political capital on his re-election. Have you learned your lesson, Sarah? Don't waste time, money, or trust on RINO's.

Excellent. After this typical payback, Sarah now owes him nothing.
I was sorry that she endorsed McCain in the Senate race, but I really don’t think she had any choice. A matter of loyalty. But she really only gave him that one weekend, and then dropped out.
Did it make a difference? I don’t know. No sensible conservative would touch McCain with a ten-foot pole, and the voters surely knew what they were voting for by this time. They did anyway, presumably on the basis of his seniority bringing them pork and influence, or something of the sort.

You are being too kind to McCain. Thoughtfulness to other conservatives is not in his DNA.

Romney may be gilded, but he will never be golden.
If Palin submitted to be VP for Romney, it would not save him. It would destroy her.

This headline is very misleading. He merely stated that he’s not supporting a given candidate.

Maybe Sarah contacted him and told him, “Look... I don’t know who you’re backing in 2012... just make sure it isn’t me, OK?”

exactly. Candidate McCain is why we have President Obama. Sarah should be happy that McCain is not endorsing her.
