Wasn't it 11 or 12 Emergency Rooms that were shut down in Los Angeles because of this very problem?

If you were a doctor, how many indigent patients would you treat for free, buying all supplies and hiring anesthesiologists, nurses etc. yourself?

This is no different than I was treated by a Dr and it is legal as I found out a Dr can refuse to treat you any further just because he or she doesn’t like you or maybe a family member

Mexico's Government would then file an amicus curiae brief, 'friend of the court', as they and about at least a dozen other Latin American countries were invited by OUR OWN FEDERAL GOVERNMENT to do when it challenged Arizona's law.

Immigrant grunt labor is no longer needed. Some educated immigrants can be assets to America. But we don't need anymore uneducated non-English speaking third worlders. But they get admitted legally via family re-unification and they come here illegally. It is a total freakin disaster that has been going on for far too long

Canada and Australia, New Zealand have skills based immigration. They keep out 3rd world riff raff...not perfectly but much better than we do

Sanchez's abrupt expulsion raises ethical and legal questions
I sort of agree. She should never have been admitted. Then she wouldn't have been 'abruptly expelled'..

Two facts jump out of this story.
(1) When it comes to illegal immigration, we live in a lawless country.
(2)Our illegality is equal to the illegality of the illegal immigrants.

What we are to Mexico is legally "an attractive nuisance." I.E., the unfenced swimming pool; the unlocked house with food on the table; the keys left in the running convertible. If we don't live by our own laws, it's fatuously illogical for us to think that the hordes of illiterate and hungry Third Worlders to our immediate south will do so. You might as well get upset about ants at a picnic.

Lock the door. Fence the pool. Don't whine about Mexicans.
