Out of that list, my preferences are Pence (out), Barbour, Pawlenty, Cain, and Daniels.

I like Palin but think a realistic path to the presidency for her would be following a stint in a GOP cabinet.

For the most part I agree with you:

1. Pawlenty - midwest governor, some weaknesses but pretty good
2. Barbour - excellent political operator, not sure about his presidential ability
3. Daniels - midwest governor with centrist appeal

I like Herman Cain and wish he'd won his Senate race.
