This Sunday millions of Americans will tune in to watch the Super Bowl - an annual highlight in the sporting world to decide the championship team in professional American football. But, before the game starts, they will remember Reagan, who would have been 100 years old this day.

~~"Some experts say Reagan would have no chance with the Republican Party of today."

"I doubt that Reagan could be elected today," said political strategist Mark McKinnon.~~

My apologies if this has already been posted.

This article is a short overview of his life and what people are thinking of Regan today. There is a typical liberal dig here about his inability of being elected today. (who's Mark McKinnon?) I believe he would still win in a landslide after 0bama's failing policies!

This may seem a silly question, but has any other past President been remembered like this - when they would have turned 100?

I don’t remember such occasion. But if not, and I think not, it goes to show you what an awesome, wonderful, honorable man Ronald Reagan was.

May his dream(s) and inspiration(s) long live on!!!

Bull****! President Reagan is exactly what conservatives and TEA Party members are looking for today. An competent ADULT leader to be our President.

I agree, but this GOP is not our father’s GOP! I’m wondering, as are many, if they return to Tea Party values....

Mark McKinnon is a so called Republican who consistently ends up sabotaging the GOP. He ran McLames campaign message and refused to hit back at Obummer. He is now pushing the "No Labels" BS. He is fully discredited and he is irrelevant.

Thank you!!! Sadly, I was in Jr. High and High school when he was in office. I was only looking for the next party and too immature to care. “Youth is wasted on the wrong people” indeed!! Blessings!

I just realized you obtained this from Indian media. Excellent! Reagan was, and still is, good for the stature of America in the world.

I heard a liberal dig on FOX Radio this morning against Reagan.

I woke up at 4:57 AM this morning. Seeing that it was nearly 5:00 AM, I decided to turn on the radio near my bed in order to listen to the national and international news for a few minutes on FOX radio.

When the news began, the reporter-ette was a woman named Jessica Rosenthal. The lead story was about Obama’s Super Bowl party at the White House. She mentioned that Jennifer Lopez and her husband Marc Anthony would be attending the party, as well as politicians from Wisconsin and the two Senators from Pennsylvania. One hundred people in all, quipped, Rosenthal. “That’s alot of chips.”

Then this moonbat mentioned, “There’s another event today. The 100th anniversary of Ronald Reagan’s birth. Of course there was a recession during his presidency, and an Air Controller’s strike, and Iran-Contra, and yes, he cut taxes only to raise them later.”

I immediately turned off the radio. There I am, sitting in the dark in my underwear cussing like a sailor at FOX Radio.
Sure, there was a brief recession at the start of Reagan’s first term, a recession he inherited from Carter. I remember the Reagan years as boom times for America. I lived in California back then and housing developments were sold out BEFORE the homes were even built. People camped at out overnight at the office’s of the developers in order to purchase these unbuilt homes. And yes, these people could afford the homes they were buying. Reagan rebuilt our military, restored America’s pride at home and overseas, and saved us from the hellish nightmare that was the Carter Administration. Sure, there were bumps in the road, such as the Savings and Loan debacle caused by politicians both major political parties, but Reagan accomplished alot, and with a democrat-controlled House to boot. He is the sole president I truly miss. One hundred years from now Reagan will be remembered, the leftie Jessica Rosenthal will not.

I see FOX sports is doing their usual lousy job of broadcasting a football game,,the score is in the upper left corner of the screen with only half the score showing, you can see Greenbays score but not the other. You’d think they’d learn after a whole season of screwing up.
