I wonder if this is another case where some overzealous organization announced Palin as a speaker (in order to generate excitement, sell tickets, and steal credibility under false pretenses) but nobody bothered to tell Palin about it?

This story has a stench to it. I’m not buying it.

Palin would never back out of an event in an American city out of “safety” concerns. First, there are too many Palin supporters who would gladly provide security on a volunteer basis, and second, Palin knows that the scumbag Democrat “mainstream” newsrooms would love to smear her as a coward, and she would not give them that chance.

By the way, I use the word “newsrooms” loosely - - they are, in fact, war rooms for the Democrat party.

May 2 - the day of the event - is also the day of the first debate.

This event was scheduled first. If Palin is thinking about running for President, she really has to cancel this event. Unless she was planning on waiting until after May 2 to announce. She’s keeping her options open.

What I’m surprised by is how Palin’s supporters here don’t seem to realize that they can say “I think Sarah’s running, yay” now. Everybodys attacking this organization, when they’re really don’t want to say “Palin cancels because it conflicts with the debate”. And now they’re taking heat for it.

Think “THIS MEANS PALIN IS RUNNING FOR PRESIDENT”

I agree. Something’s not right.

I’m wondering if there were 1 or 2 outspoken families that don’t care for Palin and affected the impressionable organizer.
