DENVER -- A Centennial-based organization has canceled an up coming charity event featuring Sarah Palin, citing safety concerns.
The Sharon K Pacheco Foundation announced Saturday that the 2011 Patriots & Warriors Charity Gala scheduled for May 2 would not be held.
"Due to an onslaught of personal attacks against Governor Palin and others associated with her appearance, it is with deep sadness and disappointment that, in the best interest of all, we cancel the event for safety concerns," said the Foundation's Director.

Nuff said.
Well in the olden days of straight talk and no BS, in the Air Force, we’d call Sharon K. Pacheco CS. You old timeers know what that is.
I wouldn’t put $0.02 in Msssssss Pachoco’s coffers for anything, how much is she racking off the “top”?
>> Sarahs a military mom. Shame on them for turning their back on her.
Exactly. I don’t trust the assessment used to justify the cancellation.
Pretty sad. Hard to imagine a situation where 0bama couldn’t appear somewhere. If that were the case it would be a huge national scandal with screams over hatred coming from the far right, etc.
So the liberal terrorists win.
No, don’t blame the democrats and hate groups..it’s us, the silent majority...we’ve not answered the call of justice, we’ve allowed the scum to overwhelm the news media, their brother/sisters in arms. We need to answer such as those of us in the Tea Parties have been doing. Sadly, we still have some silent majority who are afraid to stand up for the American Idea, but we’ll keep working on those too afraid to stand up, and eventially they too will stand up and say, “Enough is Enough”!
Sarah doesn’t have to declare until the end of the year screw NBC
If anyone’s interested...
A local news site placed the headline about this earlier today as, “Palin’s speaking.”
Just about 1-2 hours ago, they changed the headline to read, “Palin’s NOT speaking,” then buried the story.

There’s commentary below the story, of which I’m engaging in.
(It’s a pretty good site to make librat-enraging commentary on)
That would explain it.
I wouldn’t worry about it. Other arrangements will be made for that date.
Isn’t it convenient that two of FR resident PDS somehow tries to blame Sarah for this, thinking it’s maybe her fault in some way!! What a bunch L****
A new poll by the CNN/Opinion Research Corporation may be a reflection of the media’s successful campaign to tie Sarah Palin to the Tucson shootings. The poll was conducted Jan. 14-16, with 1,014 adult Americans questioned by telephone. I have doubts about that poll, but if they are accurate, I have hopes, as Americans make a reexamination of the true nature of the shootings, that Sarah Palin’s unfavorable ratings will not continue.
I am hoping that Sarah finds some way to do a reexamination of the way the media tied her to the shootings by saying her rhetoric overheated the political debate. Also, there is a continued attack on her reaction to the media’s effort to tie her to the shootings. The media is winning on that count because Palin’s “blood libel” statement continues to be misstated and used by far left Jewish groups to wage the political fight for the Left. Such groups may have direct financial connections with George Soros and even if they are not, they do have influence with the attack team, the Lamestream Media.
Yeah. Something super-hinkey here.
Clearly.
She is a clarion warrior. Can't say the same for this "White Flag Warrior" group.
Bump your entire post to the top.
Do you remember the post ‘32 ways the left will try to annihilate Sarah Palin’? I can’t find it.
I also think there’s a lot more to this story. With ticket prices for the event dropping so substantially, it would not be surprising that the event was cancelled for poor ticket sales. I don’t think it has anything to do with security as no actual threats have occurred.
lol.... wise up, kitten boy. An honest look at the explanation will conclude that it is quite a lame one. No threats, but they're canceling because of "concerns."
There's a real reason why they canceled, but the one they offered is almost certainly not it.
Oh, my. I had considered poor ticket sales as a possible real reason, but I chose a more charitable excuse. Thanks for looking into it.
This Foundation is a relatively new group that apparently can’t get it’s act together. The website was set up August 2010 and they popped up on Facebook a couple months before that in May.
