There is never delay in posting. Every post goes up immediately. It is a two stage process and you may have ended it too early. If you post isn’t up - it’s gone.
When you hit post you will see in red...

... and you have to check off
“I have already previewed or do not wish to preview this composition.”
...and hit post again.
