Yusuf Bey V sentenced for helping kidnap pair

A member of the now-defunct Your Black Muslim Bakery was sentenced Friday to 10 years in prison for helping to kidnap a mother and daughter in East Oakland so she would reveal the location of a drug dealer's cash.

Yusuf Bey V, 24, had pleaded guilty in 2009 to kidnapping for his role in the May 2007 incident, in which several men tricked the two women into believing they were being pulled over by a police car on Interstate 580.

Judge Carrie Panetta of Alameda County Superior Court sentenced Bey V to 10 years as part of a plea deal.

He really should be sentenced to death so we will have one less muslim to worry about in prison.
