Until then Israel had better damn well understand CLEARLY that mushrooms over the ME is not in our interest, and they had better understand it now. Our $ 4 billion a year is not welfare and it had better buy us something that protects USA interests. I have no desire in paying $10 for gas just to appease Israel and a pit-bull gone wild.

Egypt is not the ragtag force they were in the 60’s and 70’s. They have 300 F-16’s and a 1000 M1A1 Abrams tanks. Even a great military like the IDF would have serious problems if the Arabs attacked her in force. Especially a radical Islamic Army.
