Very well done by Sarah who spent hours enjoying the Ranch no doubt- reflected by her hair (it gets windy on the coast). The sound-work was beneath what I would have expected but it's CSPAN so...

There were a few lines that could have had much more impact if delivered differently, but she was reading from cards and I'm sure, under a timeline with photo-ops and the rest to follow.

But, it was Sarah, pure and simple and to the point- the same Sarah I got to know during the campaign where, until she appeared I had begun to lose hope for my country. I could tell she had more admiration for Ronald Reagan than what she had prepared to speak about because those thoughts were written on her face.

I sensed her appreciation of the dire situation we face today with the changes that have taken place over the years making a comeback even more difficult than Reagan might have faced when problems then, were essentially the same: too much government, too little liberty- but we have more government and less liberty now making the road back only that much more difficult. But I didn't see a quitter.

Given what her schedule was like that day and how much she took in, I will say she looked and spoke as well as I could have expected. Probably better, to be honest.

We're so lucky to have Sarah speak out on our behalf. On America's behalf. On behalf of the truth. Reagan did it, she does too.

As countries go, we're about as close to getting it right as any can, witnessed by our success, but we still have blemishes. We're still imperfect by some standards (life) and wanting in freedoms (liberty) which limits our promise (pursuit of happiness) yet remain the place where others will risk their lives to inhabit. If we should ever get it all right, could we handle the stampede? Regardless, that's no reason not to try. I'm pretty sure that's where Sarah is headed. All aboard!?

Ps. this isn't an Alaskan Cruise I'm talking about here, more like an Ark. Get on board unless you want to endure the forty days and forty nights of what's taking place in Egypt and has taken place throughout the world over the centuries as secular humanism has reigned over The Truth. Our Founders weren't idiots. They too believed a 'creator' should be in the driver's seat. Relying on any man, or man-child in our case, would lead to the storms we seemingly take for granted. Following the light is simply Noah-ing your head from a hole in the ground.

America could be This Train Is Bound For Glory if we make a few repairs. I've got some tools and am ready to go to work. Fixing stuff is what I do. This one's easy, we're more than halfway there, trust me.
