Be very aware of the subtle and not so subtle sabotage attempts against Sarah Palin, a little here and there, a wrong color, a tinny speaker, it can make or break people.
Remember when Nixon first went on TV?
The day that Sarah gave the speech in her back yard (against the backdrop of Lake Lucille) where she stepped down as governor... as soon as she started to speak, our cable system (Cox) suddenly did one of those "EAS" tests (emergency broadcasting tests), and the video of Sarah was interrupted for 60 seconds or more.
This took place in the middle of the afternoon here in the eastern time zone, as I remember. Never in the many years we have subscribed to this cable company has there been one of those EAS tests in the middle of the day. I'm usually up late with the TV on in the background... 99% of the time, those EAS tests are run at approximately 1:30 AM ET on our system.
Just a coincidence the test ran - and the video interrupted - just as Sarah started speaking?
