I posted this on the thread about that debate, try to think 3 or 4 moves ahead it helps.....:
It is amazing that for someone as stupid as Palin is said to be. she is the only politician that purposefully scheduled an event on the day of the debate with a cause that no one on the left nor the right can attack or complain about. She has taken the issue off the table. this is about one of the smartest political moves I have seen so far in this election cycle.
You have the other candidates trying to answer the media narrative of if they will or if they will not show up and if not then are they afraid or are they saying NBC is liberal etc. By doing what Palin did she can sidestep all of that crap (which is the reason the libs scheduled the debate in the first place) and proudly point to the fact that soldiers take 1st place and the liberal media can not frame the issue on their terms without appearing anti-military. Well palyed.....very well played... for the Palin haters out there. this is what we in the sticks refer to as leadership and setting a narrative and refusing to allow the liberal media to paint you into a corner and put you on the defense. Gov Palin is a masterful politician the likes the 7 drawfs have never seen before

I don’t think all the media is going along with Dana Milbank’s Palin boycott. He’s bashing Bachmann this month to fill that craving of hatred. I’d say he has a hatred for successful women, like Chris Matthews does.
