Verizon Wireless said that at 8:10pm EST yesterday it stopped the online pre-orders of the iPhone 4, ending the most successful first day of sales in Verizon Wireless' history. In fact, just two hours after the iPhone 4 went on sale it already passed the record for most phones sold on a launch day. "Yesterday's launch set the pace for next week when we open up sales to everyone Across America," Dan Mead, president and CEO of Verizon Wireless said. The iPhone 4 will be available to the general public on February 10 beginning at 10am.
