Historically, the U.S. and British intelligence services have shared information, because of their long standing special relationship.

This has sometimes been disrupted (see, e.g., Kim Philby). And they don’t share ALL of their secrets. But they do pass along things that the other nation might find useful.

Obama has repeatedly made it clear that there is no longer a Special Relationship. He hates the British because they jailed his MauMau thug of a grandfather. He has insulted England repeatedly. And just the other day he said that France is our closest ally. (That’s when he’s not cozying up to Chavez or the Muslim Brotherhood.)

I hope that the Brits understand that Americans don’t hate them. Just our traitorous scum of a president. But at the moment it must be increasingly clear to our former allies that they simply cannot count on us.

I hope that any Republican Senators who voted for the Start Treaty will be reconsidering. And I also hope that they all get thrown out on their *sses in the next two elections.

Any Repub senator who voted for this needs to be pushed out of office. This thing was bought and paid for with the betrayal of an ally.
