My biggest nightmare is that Romney and Palin (or similar candidates) split the anti-Obama vote, and he squeaks back in.

We have to work hard so that does not happen.

I also want states to adopt laws requiring presidential candidates to prove their eligibility.

Thanks in advance for any comments, or flames.

Even if only a couple states do that, it would be a potential nightmare for Obama. A failure to comply in one state would cast doubt in all states.

My more immediate fear is that multiple conservative candidates will divy up the base so much that a RINO like Romney can take the same path to the nomination that McCain took in 2008. I don't see anything fixed with problems such as the winner-take all primaries in NJ and NY and the open primaries in too many other states. A divided conservative base will open the door.

Conservatives dont give a sh!t about any anti-obama vote. They will vote for a conservative. But not just for any name that happens to not be Obama on the ticket.
