Collins: Northern border security 'grave concern' (RINO concerned about Canadian "terrorists")
The Morning Sentinel, Lewiston, Me. ^ | 2011-02-04 | Jonathan Riskind

WASHINGTON — A massive security gap along the nation’s northern border is cause for grave concern as Maine combats a growing drug smuggling trade, says Sen. Susan Collins.

Sen. Susan Collins, R-Maine, says the Department of Homeland Security “must continue to analyze the right mix of resources, ensuring there is effective use of personnel, technology, and international, state, and local agency partnerships that allow the border be open to our friends, but closed to those who would do us harm."

A new federal report highlights just how vulnerable Maine’s long border with Canada is to an array of illegal activity, from the potential of terrorists entering the country to the problem of methamphetamine trafficking, says Collins, R-Maine.

Considering your government’s lax approach to monitoring Islamic immigration to Canada and the ease with which radical Islamists cross the border from Canada into the USA to populate terrorist training camps along the northern parts of the USA all I can say to you is STFU socialist.

Well what I can tell you is this bird brain.
Yes Canada has a lax approach with respect to immigration on the whole but that is what happens when you have a country with a larger land mass than the entire United States but a population about the size of the state of California. You can couple that with a harsh climate that thankfully is harsh or we would have more muzzies, somalians, tamils and arabs in here than we already have. Our internal CSIS spy agency is effective though and we bust terror cells just like you yanks do. I want more done on immigration but so long as we have liberals around it is a sticking point. They bring in the canadians of convenience to get votes. At the end of the day america has much more home grown muzzies than canada. Look at the fort hood shooter etc. The ones running your terror camps are american muzzies. Don’t forget al lackie or whatever his name. Number two on the hit list next to bin laden. Born and Raised in America and went to american universities. Get your shit straight and stop reading too many Soldier of Fortune magazines.
Clown.

Oh yea your ground zero mosque controversy was real nice. I can’t believe it was even considered. It almost went through. Lucky for you that there are groups like fox news looking out for you.

Sorry. I don’t suffer socialist Canadians and their beloved socialist health care system since I saw their true selves the way they treated American youths participating in the Juniors a few years back.

If you are Canadian you can kiss my liberty loving American ass.

Don’t be a jag off. I could point to a large number of incidents just like yours with it the other way around. Americans have booed the canadian anthem and what about the world series in atlanta when they flew the canadian flag upside down. Who cares. This is sports stuff. You probably think the WWE is real.

and I’m not talking about some minimum-wage worker running a flag up a flagpole upside down...prove that Americans as a group loudly boo the Canadian national anthem.

Yeah he “attempted”.

And was caught mainly by a lucky break, IIRC.

Careful - your education and intelligence are showing - not in a positive light.
You want Canada - here ya go, for a start

http://www.usatoday.com/news/nation/2005-07-05-border-canada-terror_x.htm

” had plans and schematics to make improvised explosive devices. Police seized 50 electronic circuit boards which they say could be used as remote-control triggers for bombs. They said one of the men was trained overseas to make explosive booby traps”

http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2010/08/26/khurram-sher-terrorism-su_n_696159.html

http://www.cbc.ca/canada/story/2010/01/18/toronto-18-sentence.html

“procuring weapons and materiel, coercing and manipulating immigrant communities in Canada, facilitating transit to and from the U.S. and other countries, and other illegal activities...with the possible exception of the United States, there are more international terrorist organizations active in Canada than anywhere in the world...”

http://www.adl.org/terror/tu/tu_0401_canada.asp

well, that’ll give ya a start, if you're honest - but you ‘re beginning to sound like you may not want this information brought to the front - it may interfere with your agenda? One wonders, after so many denials and such name calling.

Where did Timothy McVeigh come from?

Where did McVeigh's Middle Eastern accomplice come from?

Who was "John Doe # 2?" And why was the evidence shut down?

I named Mohammed Attah and his buddy who came into the states over the Maine border

You're conveniently ignoring the fact that they LEGALLY entered the USA, on student visas issued by the US government.

And they were caught by CSIS. FTR CSIS and the RCMP have broken up several terrorist plots and there has not been a Terrorist attack on Canadian soil since 9/11. How have the Americans fared with their homegrown terrorists?

“did you know that, actually, 11 - ELEVEN - of the 9-11 bombers came across the US/Canadian border????”

Actually, none of them did. There were some media reports after 9/11 - long since debunked - that erroneously claimed some of the bombers came through Canada.

The 2004 9/11 Commission Report and the 2007 Congressional Research Study, both of which prove the terrorists who highjacked planes on Sept. 11, 2001, entered the U.S. directly from third countries with U.S.-issued visas.
