Sort of like whenever a country adapts socialism or communism, they collapse within a century... Gee I wonder what is going to happen to the USA.
I wouldn’t even say that adoption of socialism or communism is the reason for the collapse of most countries thoughout history.
It’s statism that’s at the core of these problems. It can manifest itself as fascism, communism, socialism or even most types of theocracy. The point is that it always manifests itself when mankind develops the idea that one group of people knows more about how to live life than another group of people. That’s what we’re facing now.
In the late 1930s America was weakened by an alliance of Republican isolationists and Democrat socialist/pacifists. Note that the outright communists and their agents took orders from Stalin to keep the USA OUT of the war. He was allied with Hitler at the time.
France, which had an excellent military force, was likewise hampered by socialists and communists in their government.
And now we have a commie agent in the White House.
I think the commies are better at subversion and infiltration than we are.
