Massport has been, for decades, a dumping ground for hapless friends of legislative pols who can’t get a real job.

Everyone knows it, but no one does anything about it.

Went through the entire link of salaries for the Hack-R-Rama @ Massport, 20 names per page, 57 pages, looks like the avg. income for these basic skills employees was in the $80k range plus benes.
Just some of the outrageous salaries:
Cashier 57k
Lot lizzard 74k
Broom pusher 67k, 90k for the head broom pusher.
Lawnboy 67k and 99k for his babysitter.
Every one of those jobs plus about 75% of all Mass-Port jobs is a minimum wage job in the real world, topping out at not more than 30k-35k/yr. if you're a real go getter and make a career out of it.
Now multiply this absurdity across the State employee spectrum in Mass-ghanistan and, well, the ship is sinking kiddies.

"...In 1962, President John F. Kennedy planted the seeds that grew the modern Democratic Party. That year, JFK signed executive order 10988 allowing the unionization of the federal work force. This changed everything in the American political system. Kennedy's order swung open the door for the inexorable rise of a unionized public work force in many states and cities. This in turn led to the fantastic growth in membership of the public employee unions—The American Federation of State, County and Municipal Employees (AFSCME), the Service Employees International Union (SEIU) and the teachers' National Education Association.contractor
