I agree. The thing is, I think the events this week in Egypt have illustrated to Obama the dangers of having a military force that looks kindly upon the people. For many years, my mother (a LEGAL immigrant) said that one of the stabilizing factors of America was having a strong military that would never fire on its people. The same thing happened in Russia at the fall of communism. In the end the Red Army would not attack the Russian citizen. Between Obama's efforts to gay the military and the new globalist ads the Navy is running, I wonder if he hopes to change that.
