Minnesota Congresswoman Michele Bachmann, a tea party favorite who in the last month has been named as a possible 2012 presidential contender, will be in South Carolina on Feb. 19 and will be featured in a Spartanburg event that evening.
Bachmann will speak at a lunch meeting of the South Carolina Federation of Republican Women in Columbia, and the Spartanburg County Republican Party will host a reception and dinner for her.
Bachmann spokesman Doug Sachtleben said the trip, in part, was aimed at mobilizing the grassroots to be active in the process of selecting a new president.

Ping.
Yes, I’m sure she’ll run for re-election, as will most House members in 2012. That’s major news?
MMM Ping
I’ll be you a six pack that Bachmann runs, not Palin.
If that’s how things evolve, that’s perfectly fine. There doesn’t seem to be any sign that it wouldn’t be amicable on the part of the respective cheering sections of both ladies, or on the part of the ladies themselves. One of them would almost certainly find a place in the administration of the other, or even as running mate. Both of them have more “ovaries” than most serious male candidates have cojones, sad to say. But a good woman will stand by her man and help him succeed.
Palin/Bachman 2012!
Someone over at C4P (I’m sure you just love that website pissant)/s... said that you were zotted from FR. I was skeptical but did wonder if it was true and went offline for awhile. Glad to see you’re still here. Wouldn’t be the same without you.
Palin/Bachmann could work you know. How many extra women would they get just by having an all female ticket? Obama has a hard time with male voters so Palin/Bachmann wouldn’t likely cost the GOP ticket any significant male voter loss. Just a thought.
Mr. P has some strongly held opinions with which many of us might disagree but he’s got a perfect right to express them. Glad to see he not a misogynist or a RINOphile. It does C4P no credit to be spreading rumors about conservatives who aren’t on board with the Alaska Express. Close the primaries and let the grass roots decide. I could vote for either woman but prefer, for now, Gov. Palin.
It doesn’t say, but I wonder if she is going to speak at Converse College... I think that would be a wonderful venue. OK, so I’m a tad biased...that would be my alma mater. :) But, I still think she would get a great reception at a “ladies’ college” (read that as all-girl college, if you must LOL). We had a very active college republicans when I was there...a ...erm...”few” years ago (more than 10, less than 15).
OK, send me your name and address so that I can pay if you win.
Awright! Yay! :D
Wish she was spending some time in the midlands and lowlands.

My sister-in-law is at Converse. She loves it! :)
Oh, that’s wonderful! I was a pink panther (she will know what that means). :)
