All they have to do is vote against raising the debt limit. At that point, government needs to begin living within its means. No more borrowing, no more debt, no more spending. And the nation defaults on its debts, plunging the world economy into fiscal meltdown and ending the long reign of the US Dollar as global reserve currency. Not sure who will survive to sweep up the ashes, but it certainly won't be the United States of America.
Mr. Farah, Speaker Boehner has the burden of actual leadership.

And do you really think giving the Obama Administration carte blanche to borrow and spend will restore the United States Of America to sound fiscal health? I don’t.

Nonsense.
The US has sufficient current income to pay the interest on the debt and entitlements.
There would be no need to default on the national debt.

Why delay the inevitable... the sooner we start chemo and radiation treatments... the sooner we heal... you are wrong... the world economy is going to collapse and it will be worse if we postpone it with more debt.
