Also the CDC does not report abortion deaths as death caused by abortion. Rather they report them as whatever it was that caused the death. Like infection, bleeding to death. Unless the woman dies at the clinic, they list the cause of death as something else.

I encountered that problem when I first began compiling info for my post above. I spent hours searching (thinking that the gov kept data on everything). I finally brought the question to an FR pro-life thread thinking that my search skills were deficient. Other staunch pro-life FReepers enlightened me to what you just said.

I don't think the lack of data on abortion-caused deaths of mothers is an oversight or accident. The same thing is also true of lung cancer statistics. The gov simply does not release the info (I'm sure they have it) for things it has an agenda to keep hidden.

I think it’s been a cover up by the CDC, of course it’s made to look like it’s ligit. Like so many other government agencies, they have been politicized. The book Lime 5 talked about how the CDC listed abortion deaths. The book was written in the 90’s and is very insightful.
