CINCINNATI, OH - A man has been arrested for hitting a pregnant woman in the head with a hand gun.
Jerome Smith, 27, was arrested February 1st, however, the attack happened on January 29th. happened on the 29th.
The police report states a man with "Genius" tattooed on his forehead attacked Tiera Bryant, who is eight months pregnant.

Tats like that are usually prison stuff, and it's about proving your loyalty to the gang that's protecting you. There's good reason in that environment to do it, namely survival. Outside, though, it's a bit of a handicap.

You assume his gun was legal ... making something illegal doesn’t necessarily eliminate it (e.g., marijuana, heroin, child porn, rape, assault, shoplifting, murder). I own a number of guns, and I have never struck anybody on the head with one . . . I don’t even know anybody who’s ever struck anybody over the head with a gun . . . I don’t know anybody who’s ever struck a woman, period . . .
I was being facetious. The joke was that he used the blunt end of the gun, and could have just as easily hit her with a tire iron, sledge hammer or sack of pennies.
Of course, the attack will turn up in the stats about gun violence, even though there is no evidence that the perp turned the business end of the gun towards her.
His momma must be so proud! And dollars to donuts he was raised in a fatherless household...
