Nice Graphic! I hope you made it through the night? You losing power makes me wonder if you have a external hard drive for backup in case these power outages damage your PC? We have a occasional blackout when some drunk knocks down a utility pole or Mother Nature cuts a line. My Mac is pretty resilient but I still use a backup drive. It was 35 here last night with days in the high 50s and very little rain since Jan 4th...

Thanks for your concern, but no external hard drive - I should, but the money is not available - struggling just to pay propane bill. I was amazed that they won’t come out for less than half a tank which is $240.00 right now, last year $270.00. Thankfully, last month I begged and they let me pay half then and half in Feb. I had no idea then that I would need it so much right now. I can only imagine what electric will be.

In my kitchen right now, the windows on the INSIDE have ice. Leaking air I guess. This house always feels like there’s a draft because it has older windows.

Last night I had to run the little Vornado space heater (I love that dang thing) plus my electric throw in the bedroom. Tried to save propane by turning big heater down to 50.

Computer is running like a slug today, not sure why. Could be Firefox which is sometimes funky. Or, freezing temps on outside shortwave apparatus, or ??

I did write to the emergency manager in town yesterday, plus called my electric company when I was told by a friend that they did not have any rolling blackouts in town.

Oddly, and most probably coincidence, but after I called the blackouts stopped.
