>>There are pleny of illegal bit torrent and streaming sites which certainly are stealing.<<

You mean like “MovieForum”?

Nope. As long as one has paid in the theater and eventually buys the DVD or Blu-Ray, it’s not stealing.

We saw “Hairspray” twice in the theater. Once for the sing-a-long.
We then bought the DVD, got a PS3 and bought the Blu-Ray, special collectors edition.
After all that, to state that the times I watched the movie, streaming off the internet is stealing, is greed, plain and simple.

Like I said, the studios are now offering products that cannot be downloaded and have the same experience. When “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows-Pt. 2” comes out, the fans will flock to see it in IMAX 3D, Real-3D or DBox. None of which can be downloaded. No need to feel sorry for the studios.

I don’t feel sorry for the studios but I’m assuming most people aren’t going to the theater to see them first. And if 3D is the future of cinema...

OT but would someone please explain this bit torrent etc thing? I wanted to watch an old Hawaii Five 0 episode but hesitated to sign up on a torrent site because I wasn’t sure of the privacy/legality of what I was doing.

Any suggestions as to good sites? Thanks!
