You think whoever the GOP runs will be a longshot against OBAMA? Are you kidding me? We should easily win this, unless we put up the wrong person..And I’ll give you one guess who that person is. SHE JUST CAN’T WIN. There isn’t one other person in the whole Republican party who can be President? REALLY? She’s good at what she does...needling the libs and keeping Republicans to the right. But she will never be President. She won’t.

I am going to give you a pass on that one because I just don't believe that when you say "SHE" you are referring to HER. That just can't be.

I know some of my fellow Palin supporters and the PDS’ers here (please see a doctor) will disagree but Obama is going to be tough to beat. He has the entire media complex on his side. He is beatable but anyone thinks it’s going to be some kind of cakewalk is dreaming. Many, many Americans swallow the media line, and the media line is that Obama is the greatest person who ever lived.

“SHE JUST CAN’T WIN.”

I agree, she does not have the appeal to the swing voters needed to win. And she may take the GOP House down with her, as well as the chance to take over the Senate.

Don’t underestimate the power of incumbency. Obama will be hard to beat, and the only way to beat him will be with an enthused base.

If the GOP nominates Romney, or some other GOP establishment candidate, Obama will be easily reelected.

Sounds like an opinion that is based on some level of facts, but what are they? No one thought she had a chance at beating a sitting Republican governor in AK. She had absolutely no chance of getting the natural gas pipeline project put together after others had failed for 30 years but she got the legislature to pass it.

Maybe you’re thinking that no woman has ever been elected or nominated to run for President. Hillary was even defeated for her party’s nomination. Yes, there will be challenges and the first one is to get women to break the democrat mold and to get men to break preconceived ideas about women as politicians. Gov. Palin is unlike any woman who has run for national office before.

Maybe you’re thinking that she can’t overcome the beating the press has given her. If we let that stop her, then the media can choose our candidates from here on out.

Maybe you’ve accepted a portion of the media meme that Sarah isn’t smart. Look at her career pre- and post Alaska and you have all the evidence to dispute that. She didn’t gain office because of nepotism and she didn’t sleep her way to power. She got there by being smart and making smart political decisions. The smartest decision was resigning to fight another day, which she has done and won. Since resigning she has played Obama’s alter-ego and beat him at every turn.

“There isn’t one other person in the whole Republican party who can be President? “ No. All of them forfeited by failing the leadership test in the 2010 midterms (except DeMint). They were either afraid to step forward and take a chance, or they didn’t know what position to take. They repeated their ineptitude after the Tucson shooting (including DeMint) by failing to speak up for the millions of TEA party people who were blamed by media and democrats. So, now that a passel of conservative Republicans have been elected to the House due to the work of Palin and the TEA party, these brave souls step up to claim the mantle of their party? Hooray for them.

When Reagan was running for his first term, all we heard in the media was that he was just a silly actor, and not a very good one, “Who would vote for an actor to be President?” Well, he won handily because he resonated with people and Carter had been a lousy President. Sarah resonates with people and Obama has been a lousy President. Expect a similar result.
