You are one very odd fellow.
His medical license was jerked.
If you read the General Medical Counsel report, you will see that the investigation lasted 148 days.
They very carefully tabulated each of the charges, dismissing those that they found not valid or serious enough to censor him.
I quoted wiki because they had a nice summary. To quote all of the original stuff would take many pages and be very boring to most here.
I also read the ruling by the judge who was hearing Wakefield’s claims to libel and slander.
It is interesting to note that Wakefield dropped that litigation as soon as the judge made the decision that the case was to move forward.
When he dropped his claims, he paid the legal expenses of those who were forced to defend themselves against him.
He certainly would not have done so if he had any kind of a case.
If you read the charges against him and the decision by the GMC, you will see that they found him guilty of a variety of charges. To be found guilty of so many is pretty damning.
All I can say is that anyone who would defend him, other than his paid lawyer, is either not very bright or is not of very good character himself.
I like a good discussion. I even like a good argument. But it does become very tiresome when people ignore the facts.
I know. It is a conspiracy. By the news reporters, the TV, the judges and the General Medical Board.
Wow!
I am glad you exposed all of them.
Good thing you’re old; you won’t be having any kids to vaccinate.
“it does become very tiresome when people ignore the facts.’
I agree and I hope you will read ALL of the facts regarding this case as well. I have read extensively about both sides of the Wakefield issue. You are speaking without fully investigating. Do you even KNOW the stated conclusion of Wakefeild’s paper? He said, ‘IT WARRANTS FURTHER INVESTIGATION’. What in the Lord’s name would be wrong with that, pray tell?
From the paper...
“We have identified a chronic enterocolitis in children that may be related to neuropsychiatric dysfunction. In most cases, onset of symptoms was after measles, mumps, and rubella immunisation. Further investigations are needed to examine this syndrome and its possible relation to this vaccine.”
If everyone is so certain there is no link, I would think they would be thrilled to have it investigated further and the subject finally put to rest.
