Odd, so now one chimes in whilst ignoring Monsanto using lawsuits to corner the seed market and sue farmers for their own contamination?What corner on the seed market? Farmers are free to chose whatever seed they want.
The problem for the Leftists is that companies like Monsanto provide such a powerful seed which farmers make more money from than anything else, and they freely chose to do business with them.
Ever heard of Roundup-Ready corn or soybeans? The seed is VERY expensive. Yet, farmers line up to buy it, leaving the other, cheaper seed in the storehouse.. Why do you think that is?

Hmm, so when the only seed houses in the area are Monsanto, and they require a exclusivity agreement to buy their seeds, one wonders “why” farmers would line up to purchase them?
Put it this way, if Monsanto's product was so universally loved, then why are they suing farmers who A)do not use their products B) did not ask for their crop to be contaminated with their pollen?
