Only God can do that, when man tries to play God, it usually leads to disastrous results.

Yeah. Like V-J Day. A disastrous result magnificently targeted!

Human beings have been messing with plant and animal genes for many centuries now. Recently, however, they've found a hi-tech shortcut! Predictably, the 'tards are whining about Man outgrowing his britches! The frankenfood meme started in Europe, until recently the capital of 'tardism. But GE food was invented here, and may it spread at the expense of 'tards everywhere! Folks are hungry!

Technological break-thrus such as this always alarm the simple. And the media shills vying for their attention. And the slimy pols looking for something to demagogue!

Monsanto had to go to the Supreme Court to get long standing law changed to allow seeds to be patented, which goes against the grain (so to speak) of what our founding fathers knew better, that is, not to allow a patent on food sources.

Once that decision to patent seeds was won the rest is history as shown in court documents. Monsanto runs to the courts all the time now to conduct business in their favor, a monopoly aided by the court system (worldwide).

Aside: The government admitted killing birds by poisoning to prevent contamination by nuisance over bird populations and their droppings onto feed grain used for livestock/farms. Read a one paragraph like footnote weeks after the mass die-offs. So much for headline news reporting.

As to vaccinations, obviously children do not have fully developed bodies to deal with what are essentially poisons being introduced into their little systems. I’ve lost track of how many types of ‘do good’ drugs are used on a newborn before they even leave a hospital let alone before the age of 10 (don’t forget those booster shots), all courtesy of Congress via lobbyist. {Most shots can be waived if so inclined, it’s the only out Congress grants (and States) to pass drug laws due to a unexplained percentage of deaths and side-affects}

Technological break-thrus such as this always alarm the simple.
*************************************************

I suppose that’s true for me, as I’m certainly ‘simple’ and I lack in education but I don’t lack in questions or the ability to reason.

The breakthroughs don’t bother or alarm me at all, I celebrate them. I don’t fear eating these products, either.

I am also not of the opinion Pitt-Bulls need to be banned but that doesn’t mean I don’t become madder than a hornet, when people fail to properly control or pen their beloved pet.

I think it ridiculous when a company can’t control their product but decides to sue others over their failure.

That’s about the offender controlling others. I love business and the free market but that’s bullcrap. That’s abuse of law...

Nature is nature and there is an issue that needs to be straightened out about GE crops, companies and our future—if we are to continue this path.

I suppose if your dog gets out, digs into my yard and impregnates my dog, you can sue me for all the puppies and then some, I lose my house trying to defend.

I try and argue but...but...but...*your* dog dug into my yard, you didn’t control yours, you let it run wild. Your argument? You spent years and years breeding this perfect dog and soooo much money, you have papers, I don’t.

Besides, I should have spayed my dog......hmmmmm.... ;)

If Monsanto can do this—then that STUPID, RETARDED, lawsuit over Katrina and globull warming should fly, those people should have a case against Oil Companies. *rolls eyes*

We have a problem, Houston... (gist of my gripe)
