Titicut Follies was banned by a MA court for showing the horrors of Bridgewater State Hospital for the Criminally Insane. The judge said it violated the “privacy” rights of the inmates.

It would have made a good play or acted movie “with names changed to protect the innocent” and the law couldn’t say squat about it any more.
