No outcry because the media are liberals/democrats/marxists disguising themselves as reporters in order to con the American people into allowing socialism to enslave and destroy the people.

Republicans and capitalism are blamed for high oil prices but only when a Republican is in power.

1. It's not happening on Bush's watch.

2. Bush too long out of office to spin it that it's his
fault.

3. Middle East “unrest” is causing speculative price hikes and because it has to do with Muslims, there can be no blame from the press.

4. Obama’s and Michelle's extravagant travels have caused a spike in gas and jet fuel utilization.

5. Obama’s drilling moratorium has stopped new activity and additional fuel reaching market.

6. House Republicans have not been in power long enough for
the press to figure out that they can blame them!!!

The same reason there are no anti-war protests while our troop fatalities have doubled over the last 2 years.

The Magic Mullato is too historic to even consider his massive failures and the pain he is causing American citizens.

The Left as personified by the entire MSM is a moral vacuum wrapped in a hollow fraud, and they recognize and protect one of their own at all costs.

Today is a good day to die.
I didn't say for whom.

I’ve seen news coverage, but it’s all along the lines of this being the way the market is.

The Drive-By-media is busy with revolution(s) in the ME and Chuck Sheen.
Give it time. . .

For sure, but there are only a few that report honestly and they are overwhelmed by those that don’t.

When the medias do not report, it is, as if, these things are not happening. In this age if constant electronic entertainment, many fail to think about things that matter. So yes, we have become like sheep. MO

There is as much complaining about it now as there was when President Bush was in office.

However, the media has been tasked (I hate that word) to keep it under wraps.

Rising gas prices are only reported on if a Republican is president. When a good Democrat is president, the subject is ignored.

The same applies to other subjects too. We have incredible problems with homelessness and people grappling with poverty when there is a Republican president. But when a good Democrat is president, that problem is ignored.

It’s not that the issues don’t exist anymore, it’s just that the liberals in the MSM choose not to report certain subjects.

I can deal with the price of gas because it would cost too much now to get something more fuel efficient. I have two motorcycles but here in Alaska riding is pretty seasonal.

My big regret is that I do hate my job which is local, I would not be able to find another thats similar and pays near the same, all the better paying jobs are 50 miles away in Anchorage and with such a big truck that barely gets over 10 MPG commuting is out of the question, and I cannot carpool. My type of work does require a truck this size at times.

Even with a “local” job I have been paying on average $60-85 a week in fuel. Alaska fuel prices and a 1 ton dually with a 496 cubic inch gas motor.

What I did last year was to keep the dually service truck at work, use it for the big jobs but commute on my Yamaha 1300 Tourer, it gets over 50mpg.

Duh. This kind of outcry is lead by media hammering the story night after night. Their annointed one is in office. They have misplaced their hammers.

The media are not reporters but are Marxists/democrats/liberals.

The media controls 99% of people so much that if they put a picture of a grape fruit on the screen without any commentary then that’s what people would be talking about. Then the media would blame Bush, capitalism and Republicans for why no one is eating these “healthy” fruits and all the sheep would believe it and repeat it.

People bought the global warming hoax , BP oil “disaster”, swine flu “pandemic”, e-coli , and a thousand other fake threats.

“The whole aim of practical politics is to keep the populace alarmed (and hence clamorous to be led to safety) by menacing it with an endless series of hobgoblins, all of them imaginary.” Mencken

Haven’t you heard? There’s no inflation.

Of course, the statistics help when you don’t include energy or food prices. Fuel and electricity have gone way up, and that is driving up the cost of everything, at every step in production to consumption... People in my apartment complex were complaining because of 16% to 21% rate increases in the electrical rates. Kansas has one of the largest coal-fired power plants in the world (LaCygne, which has a capacity equal to some nuclear plants). Anybody remember Obama saying that he would bankrupt coal fired power companies?

Food prices are creeping up, but something more interesting us that the quantity of the food in the packages are going down. Canned tuna has dropped from 6oz to 5oz. The Orange Juice I buy went from 64oz to 56oz containers. Cereal has gone from 16oz to 15oz boxes. Soup from 16oz cans to 15oz cans. And the list goes on and on...

Mark
