Governor LePage says he's pleased with a Florida judge's ruling that federal health care overhaul is unconstitutional.

Maine is among the 25 states that signed onto to the federal challenge.

On Monday, the judge ruled unconstitutional the requirement for most Americans to buy health insurance by 2014 or face penalties, as well as the section of the act that withholds medicare funds from states that refuse to take part.

Governor LePage says Maine needs comprehensive reform to lower job-killing health care costs, not more expensive mandates.

Meanwhile, Representative Chellie Pingree expressed disappointment with the ruling.

She says her constituents tell her that congress didn't go far enough.

You mean the constituents that she bothered to listen to, don't you?

Sounds like he opposes Obamacare because, like Vermont, he wants to do single payer on a state basis.

Hey, at least that is in keeping with the concept of Federalism.

Everyone should be pleased that this vile destructive bill is declared unconstitutional!

Many of the Christian hospitals were making plans to shut down due to the forced abortion portion in the disgusting “law”

I love that judge Vinson cited the tea party saying that he finds it hard to belive that a country founded in part by the resentment of a government imposing a tax on tea would set out to create a governmnet that would force you to buy the tea in the first place
