The Egyptians are well aware of this target and have taken precautions. If, as the Islamicists predict, they will eventually attack Israel with their advanced US weapons then Israel will have no other recourse than to go to DEFCON5...Some us questioned the massive arming of Egypt for the last 30 years. The US just keeps making the same friggin’ mistakes again and again.

When the MB takes over, the first thing they will do is purge the military which will effectively neuter it. If they are truly aligned with Iran, some hardware will transfer to Iran who needs it to defend against us.
The Egyptians can’t even defend Egypt from Egypt. They can’t do much against Israel. They need Jordan and Syria.
